Brief: This client works in the New Age space, running courses for practitioners of reiki. She contacted me needing cohesive and professional looking covers for her training materials which included both books and CDs.
Design solution: To differentiate the two course streams, we opted for a light and dark theme, with the same font used to tie them both to the client’s brand. I supplied print PDF and web-optimised versions to suit various outputs.
Brief: This Sydney musical ensemble wanted a fresh look for a new season of performances.
Design solution: Having already worked with this client for a couple of years, it was an easy task to move their branding along a little, whilst maintaining their core messaging. We stuck with the same logo and colours, but introduced a 3-column grid and triangle motif with varying opacity.
This brochure was A4, folded to A5, on 160gsm, which struck the right balance between quality and affordability.
Brief: This client needed a general information brochure that communicated their integrity and experience. Since it was needed for trade shows and would be the company’s first contact point with potential new customers, they were keen for an accessible design and a quality finish.
Design solution: We opted for a traditional A3, folded to A4 format on a 250gsm gloss stock. Their existing logo incorporated circles, blues and blacks, so I pushed these elements further. The easy-to-read 2-column grid allowed plenty of room for infographics, which are a great option for technical companies.
These tea towels were created for Delicious Magazine to use as an add-on gift. They needed to be ‘design’ meets ‘foodie’.
The Northern Sydney Schools Wind Ensemble is a district band program for students across Sydney. Keen to consolidate their visual identity, I produced a variety of printed materials based around black/white and circles, adapting the three colours and ‘swirl’ of their existing logo.
Throughout the year we produced several A5 and A4 programs, posters, raffle tickets and CD packaging.
This client needed to brand his rental home in a friendly way that would appeal to potential holiday makers. The DL flyer and business card are consistent, using a combination of location and scenery photos.
This project, for Westwick Farrow Media, was the 2017 Melbourne Comms Connect Exhibition Guide. With a strict palette, and clean lines, this juggle of information came together into a 60-page, perfect bound book, American Quarto size.
Along with this guide, I designed exhibition space, exhibitor guides and a variety of floorplans and event collateral.
